Staffan WIDSTRAND

Photographes animaliers

Staffan Widstrand, directeur général et co-propriétaire de Wild Wonders International, est un photographe professionnel indépendant maintes fois primé.

Fort de 30 années d’expérience en communication visuelle, il est également auteur de 18 livres traduits en 9 langues différentes, explorateur pour le National Geographic depuis 2009 et ambassadeur Nikon depuis 1997.

Il a participé à la mise en place de l’initiative Wild Wonders of Europe, de l’initiative Wild Wonders of China, de l’International League of Conservation Photographers (ILCP), du projet Rewilding Europe, et de l’association suédoise d’écotourisme. Partenaire de l’agence Wild Nature Photo Adventures, spécialisée dans le voyage photo, il siège régulièrement comme juré lors de concours internationaux de photographie, notamment les concours « World Press Photo » et « Wildlife Photographer of the Year ».

Enfin, il a mené ou participé à plusieurs importants projets de communication médiatiques sur la préservation de la faune (Wild Wonders of Europe, Wild Wonders of China, Rewilding Europe, Scandinavian Big Five, Ajunngilaq).
