Chairman of the jury of the Wildlife Photographer of the Year competition for seven years, Mark has been taking wildlife and conservation pictures for nearly 30 years and writes regularly on photography.
He was selected as one of the world’s 40 most influential nature photographers by Outdoor Photography magazine. Mark has a provocative conservation column in BBC Wildlife, and he has written more than 50 books, including several bestsellers.
For many years, he presented the weekly half-hour radio programme Nature on BBC Radio 4, and his TV work includes the popular BBC series Last Chance to See, which he co-presented with Stephen Fry.
